From Sawpitt Creek one walks down the Pallaibo walking trail
and at the end of the walk one reaches this inviting Thredbo River picnic area.
In the river you may be lucky to spot a shy platypus or try some fly fishing for trout. My husband tried numerous times, but we always ended up buying the fish at the trout farm.
