Lovely rose painting by an artist on internet was the impetus to try my hand at painting my own roses. The roses in my garden were asleep but suddenly with onset of autumn they woke up and I was rewarded with a few fragrant beautiful stems. … tried to adopt a loose interpretation, once had to take part of the painting under the tap because it was crowded and messy.. but persevered.
