Music Table with Natives & Scrolls

The beautiful music table was given to me by a friend. I had to sand the table top few times as it had some damage & then painted it in acrylics in various styles be it Norwg.Rosemaling, Hinderloopen & my own design of Austr. natives for the eyes to feast on.

Australian Natives

Australian Natives are such a joy to paint for me. Another little painting to be given away as a present -- light and easy to pack into a suitcase and still bring "Freude" to the recipient.

29 x 23 cms watercolour and acrylic.

Flowering Eucalypt with gumnuts and Wattle

I needed a present for someone and the inspiration was the red flowering eucalypt with gumnuts & wattle I see in the streets. Watercolour 30 x 20 cms.

Australian Natives

Australian Natives ... I cannot help myself, I just love painting them. To get a "mottly" varied effect in the background I used salt in the wet pigment. Painted on WC 300 gr paper with WC & acrylics.
