Flowering Eucalypt with gumnuts and Wattle

I needed a present for someone and the inspiration was the red flowering eucalypt with gumnuts & wattle I see in the streets. Watercolour 30 x 20 cms.

Australian Natives ... I cannot help myself, I just love painting them. To get a "mottly" varied effect in the background I used salt in the wet pigment. Painted on WC 300 gr paper with WC & acrylics.
