Wiesenblumen

It started as 37 x 28 cms watercolour  - Wiesenblumen -  Meadow, a field of poppies & wild flowers

What a disaster, eventually I tore the painting and salvaged only this small long segment which I felt would do as an odd-shaped Card.

Magnolia

Magnolia Watercolour 26 x 29 cms
I painted similar Pic years ago in Maria B Painting Loft.
An acquittance of mine fell in love with the Magnolia from all the photos in my Gallery and as I really needed to return a favour I sat down and tried to replicate the original painting but on a larger scale. It took days and lots of frustration to go with it. I hope she’ll be happy with it.

Watercolour 25 x 20 cms,  Banksia Marginata

Walk in the Woods Watercolour 28 x 38 cms
To break the "painting block" I've decided to go back and paint what gives me most joy ...

the gum trees and their ever amazing variety and shapes.

Watercolour 33 x 28 cms.. Roses and Baby Breath

Thredbo River on the Way to Perisha

Watercolour 30 x 38 cms...not enough white sparkle and that poplar (which b.t.w. was there) is like a sore thumb....

Australian Bushland

Watercolour 30 x 38 cms
Australian Bushland with gum trees. Tried a different approach, painting segments of the scene, observing negative space to achieve more loose effect.
