This is a picture from Sharon Whittley I really loved and was itching to paint, yet had considerable difficulties with.
One from the batch of “watercolour paper” which has lost its sizing and inspite of treatment  with MethyloCellulose and Methylat.  Spirit it still acted like a blotting paper.

This has been sitting pre-drawn for over 2 weeks on my desk, somehow I foreseen the difficulties & was hesitant to get going...the attempts only exacerbated by the WC paper behaving like a blotting paper once again.
