Historical Patmos with Monastry of St.John and the Cave of
the Apocalypse
WC, Size 38 x 28 cms, Patmos
Tried to keep it fairly loose and with bluish tinge. Several "blue" tones were used: Ultra, Cobalt, Indigo, Paynes Gr. titch Cerrul. ...raw sienna,raw/burnt umber umber,Quinac.gold, my dark brown mix.
Heat wave in Sydney of 39oC proved rather a challenge to complete this watercolour.
